All bedrooms are fully air-conditioned and furnished with teak and Balinese artefacts. Bathrooms are glass-walled and sunken baths look out into private walled courtyard gardens. As all our rooms are non smoking, it is requested that guests smoke outside the room.

Lanais

The thatched-roof lanai rooms are built in clusters of four around a central rock pond. Each lanai rooms has a private terrace and measure 55 – 60 square metres. The bedroom is air conditioned and you can choose either a king-size Balinese bed or Hollywood twin beds. The bathroom is set in a private walled garden and appointed with a marble sunken bath and double vanity counter. Some have separate shower and a walk-in closet with ample storage space.

Luxury Villas

The thatched-roof villas are havens of peace and privacy. They range in size from 200 square metres to 400 square metres. Each has its own lushly landscaped garden courtyard with a rock pond. A raised pavilion provides a shady retreat for alfresco dining and a private balcony overlooks the beach or gardens. The bedrooms are individually designed with a theme that reflects each villa’s floral name. The floral theme is carried through to the specially commissioned oil paintings and the handcarved wooden headboard of the king-size, four poster Balinese bed. The artworks, and the softly toned fabrics featuring local motifs, reflect the quality and intricacy of Balinese handicrafts. The bedroom décor is further enhanced by opulent marble flooring, and teak wood finishes. The luxurious bathroom feature open-air garden, secluded behind high stone walls. Each bathroom has a walk-in closet and luggage storage area, two vanity counters, separate stalls for shower and toilet, and a marble sunken bath.

 

Luxury Villa with Pool

Nine of the villas have their own sparkling swimming pool, measuring up to 10 metres by 6 metres, set in the palatial courtyard.

Royal Villa Hibiscus with Pool

The Royal Villa Hibiscus with pool, has two bathrooms, a kitchenette and a separate living room with traditional thatched roof.

Open-air massage pavilions at the Oberoi Spa in Bali make for a truly memorable and relaxing experience. The pavilions overlook a pond abloom with golden carp, water lilies and tropical plants. Its widely acclaimed Balinese deep-pressure massage relieves physical tensions and induces relaxation. The Thai, no-oil massage concentrates on the careful application of pressure to distribute energy, release blockage and stretch muscles leaving the body relaxed an energized. A combination of Thai and Western techniques, the Stress Relieving massage loosens muscular tensions, improves body circulation and balances body functions.

Location & access

The Oberoi, Bali is located on Seminyak beach, the most beautiful beach on the island, on the south west coast of Bali, Indonesia. The resort is 9 kilometers north from Bali’s Ngurah Rai international Airport and 15 kilometers from Denpasar city, the capital of Bali province. The Oberoi Bali is set amidst fifteen acres of tranquil gardens, recreating a traditional village, the hotel reflects the romance, serenity and timeless beauty of the island.

By air

Several international airlines fly direct to Bali (DPS) from all major Asian and Australian cities. Some of the direct international flights into Bali are operated by Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways, Malaysia Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Qantas Airways, Air Paradise, Japan Airlines and China Airlines.
Indonesian domestic airlines connect Bali to Indonesia’s capital Jakarta on Java island and other international gateway cities such as Surabaya and Yogyakarta. Flying time from Surabaya is 35 minutes, from Yogyakarta is 1 hour 10 minutes, Jakarta is 1 hour 50 minutes and from Singapore is just 2 hours 15 minutes.

By sea

Cruise ships dock at the deep sea port of Padang Bai which is 2.5 hours drive from the hotel. Private yacht can dock at Benoa harbour, 25 minutes by car from the hotel. Adventurous travelers can drive from Java via the vehicular ferry, which arrives at Gilimanuk, West Bali.
