Komodo Package from Labuan Bajo Duration : 3 Days 2 Nights

The Island is famous for its Komodo Dragons, called “ora” by the local people, Komodo
is a small island of two hundred and eighty square kilometers, located between
Sumbawa and Flores. Komodo Island is now a nature reserve, home to a number of rare
bird species, deer, and wild pigs. This trip is made for embarkation and disembarkation
through Labuhan Bajo.

Day 1: Arrival Labuan Bajo (Meals: Dinner) Upon arrival at Labuhan Bajo Airport we will provide meeting service and then transfer to your hotel. Labuanbajo is a little town inhabited by fishermen, lies at the extreme western part of Flores. The town serves as a jumping-off point for the trip to Komodo and near by islands. On the way to hotel we visiting Batu Cermin Cave – 5 km away from the town. The cave is 75 by 5 m large, and contains stalactites and stalagmites. Return to Labuhan Bajo for dinner and accommodation.

Day 2: Komodo Island tour (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) After breakfast at 06.00 AM cruise to Komodo Island for about 3 hours by a local wooden boat passing several small islands. Arrival Komodo island, start by half an hour’s walk (2km) to Banunggulung to see the KOMODO DRAGONS which are scientifically described in 1912 as VARANUS KOMODOENSIS, the largest monitor lizard in the world, which can grow up to 3 meters long. It is estimated that there are 2,000 lizards on Komodo Island. The island is also a good place for bird life with cockatoos and gosong birds (megapodius reinwardti) among others. This is the highlight of this adventure. The rest of the day is free to visit the small but interesting Park Laboratory Museum, and relax on the beach. In the afternoon head back to Labuan Bajo.

Day 3: Labuhan Bajo Departure (Meals: Breakfast) Morning will be free at own leisure, until due time for departure we will provide transfer to the airport for flight departure to other onward destination.
